I agree with Bahamut. Bethesda has never been known for graphically powerhouse games. Fallout 4 is vastly superior to FO3. The lighting effects are actually quite nice. Anyone who says they are the same needs to pop FO3 back in and look at it again.
I really don't understand all the hate toward this game. I assume people had super high expectations about this release and when they weren't met they lashed out. I'm having a blast with this game. I'm sure I've put in at least 100 hours and haven't really done much of the main quest.
@ShinMaster- I'm not talking about the random buildings, but the actual location buildings. Which are basically,the RPG equivalence of dungeons. Add those to the general map area and Fallout 4 is quite expansive.
@Vegamyster- That's my thought. Everyone talks about how small the map is on Fallout 4, but are they taking into account all the buildings that are there to explore?

It's weird. I had the disappearing gun/pip boy glitch for about a week and then one day it just stopped happening. Hasn't come back for about 4-5 days. Hopefully it fixed itself(?).
I've been getting the disappearing gun/pip boy glitch as of late. It really only happens when I'm crouching, but now I'm unable to sneak because I can't use my gun sights. But other then that I'm loving this game.
I loved Far Cry 4. But then I didn't play Farcry 3 so everything seemed new and fresh.
Heck! I just learned how to get the light bulbs lit.
So people stopped watching Pornhub and started playing with a different Fatman.
Fallout was great for me because I live in the Balt/Washington area so the atmosphere for that game was extra creepy.
I'm enjoying this game but like others have said the atmosphere isn't the same. That was the same knock I had for FO:NV
